Terms of Service

Welcome to the plugins and services provided by Equations and Algorithms ("Eqs and Algos," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our plugins, including but not limited to:
  • LaTeX Math
  • Wordsearch Puzzle
(collectively, the "Plugins"), including use through platforms such as Canva.com ("Canva") and Google Editors (Docs, Slides, etc.) ("Google Editors"). By accessing or using any of our Plugins, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Plugins.

1. License and Permitted Use

1.1 License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Plugins solely for your personal or internal business purposes.

1.2 Restrictions

You may not:
  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Plugins
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the Plugins for unlawful purposes
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Plugins

1.3 Platform Variations

Because Canva, Google Editors, and other platforms operate differently, features and functionality of a Plugin may vary depending on the platform used. We do not guarantee identical functionality across platforms.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

2.1 Free and Premium Access

Some Plugins may offer both free and premium access levels. Feature availability, wait times, usage limits, or performance priority may differ between tiers. For example:
  • LaTeX Math may include wait-time limitations for free users.
  • Wordsearch Puzzle may include usage limits or feature restrictions for free users.
We reserve the right to modify features between free and premium tiers at any time.

2.2 Payment Processing

Premium subscriptions and payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not directly store full payment card information.

2.3 Billing

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled prior to renewal. You are responsible for managing your subscription status.

2.4 No Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

2.5 Platform-Specific Subscriptions

Subscriptions are platform-specific unless explicitly stated otherwise. A subscription purchased for use on one platform (e.g., Canva) does not automatically grant access to premium features on another platform (e.g., Google Editors). Each platform integration may require its own separate subscription.

3. User Content

Certain Plugins may allow you to input or generate content, including text, formulas, or puzzles. You retain ownership of content you create using the Plugins. However:
  • You are solely responsible for the content you generate.
  • You agree not to use the Plugins to create unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
  • We do not monitor or endorse user-generated content.

4. Data and Privacy

We may collect limited technical and usage information related to Plugin functionality and subscription management. For details regarding data handling, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

5. Support and Updates

We are not obligated to provide support, maintenance, or updates for any Plugin. Any support or updates are provided at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to:
  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Suspend or discontinue a Plugin
  • Introduce new paid features

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Plugins are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to:
  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Availability or uninterrupted operation
We do not guarantee that the Plugins will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Equations and Algorithms shall not be liable for any:
  • Indirect
  • Incidental
  • Special
  • Consequential
  • Exemplary
  • Punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
arising out of or related to your use of the Plugins. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve (12) months.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to any Plugin at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. Upon termination, your license to use the Plugins immediately ends.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Louisiana. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Louisiana.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Plugins after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
